Standard Fees
My fee for a standard 50-60 minute therapy session is $120.
Please note: I am currently not accepting new couples.
Form of Payment
Payment can be made via cash, check, or credit card. A charge of $1.00 will be added to all credit card transactions to offset merchant fees.
Insurance
I do not currently accept insurance as a form of payment; however, I can provide clients with a “Superbill” for out of network services to provide to their insurance carrier. Some insurance providers will provide partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services. It is the responsibility of each client to understand his or her benefits and to submit insurance claims.
Speaking Services
My fee for speaking engagements is $200 per hour. Additional fees may apply for travel expenses.
No Surprises Act: Notice of Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
